happy new year everyone!  we are winding down by looking at all of the year's featured articles on 1st dibs.  especially loved the one on Deborah Needleman's new book.  oh how we miss Domino magazine!  but we are definitely putting her book on our wish list.

and we have to mention that this living room by Robert Couturier has to be our favorite of 2011.  the modern gold ribbon is so funky and perfect against the traditional architecture.  we want to hang out in that room!  it must look really fancy at night too.  lighting is everything!  do you like it as much as us?
